And even more pictures

What is a camping trip without marshmellows?
Here Preston is blowing on a spider hanging down from a tree. He obviously got a great kick out of it.

Rick can be a pretty fun grandpa.

More camping

We saw a mother moose (bottom picture) and her baby (above) several times as they wandered through our campsite.
Preston LOVES bugs of all kinds. Here he is holding an ant. Allie is not afraid of most bugs (only spiders) but she was not as quick to pick them up as Preston was.

Looking for bugs can make a pretty cute picture.

Mark's graduation present

Our sweet Mark really only wanted one thing for his graduation present; he wanted a visit with Preston, Dave and Ya-ping before he went on his mission. Here are pictures from their visit. Ya-ping and Preston are here for two weeks, but David went home on Wed. after only one week. We wanted to give Preston a chance to camp. We went up to Spruces in Big Cottonwood Canyon for a couple of nights. Here we are cooking foil dinners.

I hope I am not too late

I hope I haven't waited to long to post this. I have been thinking about what to fast about this week and would love to suggest a family fast. Dad's hearing has been pretty bad and I know it frustrates him not to be able to be in on as many conversations. Could we fast for his hearing and health? I realize that there are several other important family issues currently so we may need to have a rather big list this month. We could include Tammy and baby and Sue and her boys. I know I do a lot better when I am fasting about something that is important to me and I also know it is very helpful to put all the power of this family together on a task. Hopefully most of you will read this before Sunday. We love you all and wish we were a bit closer geologically but feel blessed because of the love and technology that keep us connected emotionally.
Love, Ann
